Achievements

Each year the Coalition releases an annual Snapshot Report which shines a light on signatories’ individual and collective progress in reducing emissions and delivering on the Coalition’s Statement of Ambition.

The Coalition’s Fifth Anniversary Snapshot Report was released in November 2023 and showed that signatories have collectively reduced their emissions by 3.6 million tonnes since joining the Coalition. That’s a cumulative 29 per cent reduction and equivalent to the average annual emissions of 270,000 New Zealanders. You can read the full media release here.
